Let me start today off with the baddest car at SEMA the 1200hp Hennessey Venom Gt. The Car cost over a million dollars, is owned by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
The Car is based on a Lotus Elise chassis that has been stretched to accommodate a twin turbo LS V8
Bisimoto has been busy at SEMA with at least 5 cars, they worked on. This is a 600hp Hyundai Elantra. The car had a lot of trick components that I don’t think you will ever see on an Elantra again.
K tuned had a great booth filled with everything you need to swap a K series motor in to any Honda chassis. This is their new Ram Header, maybe one day the Integra will have a K24 in it, then I will give these guys a call.
Honda’s performance division ( if you can call it that) brought out a supercharger for the CR-Z it adds 40hp to the car to put at a little over 240. Why can the just drop a K20 in it and call it a day. I would buy that.
This is the NSX prototype used in the avengers. It is smaller than the old NSX about the size of an CRZ.
The D Sport Magazine R33 GTR is a beast. I wonder how it can stay in the country with all of the recent news about the government cracking down on skyline imports?
The 935hp twin turbo RB26 is set up for drag racing, but I’m sure it can show it’s lights to a lot of track cars.
The The D sport mag S14 240sx was also at the show. I will have to wait to see what engine choice was better the Ka or SR
Mazda brought out the sister car to the Le Mans winning 1990 787. The car has a quad rotor R26B motor.
Shelby had the 1000hp Super Snake in their booth. I have trouble seeing how much faster this will be than the normal 700hp snake.
There was a really clean RX7 in the walkway between the halls. I love the 99 spec C front bumper, too bad rotorary’s don’t like Vegas heat or else I would all ready own one.
The S2000 next to the RX7 had a wide body kit on it. I could tell if it was a Amuse kit or Top fuel, if you know write it in the comments below.
Lexus brought out a Nurburgring edition LFA. This is the only one ever seen at an American auto show. I love the car but I don’t know I would spend the $400k on it if I had it. That’s it for SEMA! Thanks for reading.
