While the Acura is waiting to get a new clutch and lsd, I went to the Viva Las Vegas Car show. The show is for any pre 63 American cars and favors heavily in old Cadillacs, and hot rods.
The creativity that most of these cars had was something I had never seen before. you can’t make your import or muscle car look like a junk pile, and make into a car show.
There were lots of early 30’s fords, some were well styled,
others where just great looking rat rods.
There were so many great looking trucks too, like this GMC stepside. I love the Orange paint.
Another great truck. I would love this in flat black
I guess he’s not worried about scrapping?
I would be doing an injustice if I didn’t show you at least one lead sled.
Two things I noticed from this car. That shifter must hurt when it hits you in the head, and how small where people in the 30’s that they could fit in such a tiny cabin.
The other thing to take away were the women. I have never been to a car show with so many women actually happy to be there. Most shows it’s just girlfriends who can’t wait to go home.
I would love to cruise this car up and down Las Vegas Boulevard.
This just looks mean, it sounded great too!
That motor was in this 32 roadster, I wonder if the owner has to deal with people complaining that it isn’t all from the same manufacture, like if you put a 2jz in Skyline?
Slow and low is the way to go with this one.
Another mix bread but it looks awesome. OK back to working on the Integra
