Rocket Bunny equipped Nissan S13 240sx just looks mean sitting still in the parking lot. I think this kit is too expensive to use on a track car, but it makes it look like it hits the track every week.
Need some more power in your FRS? Forget turboing the 4 cylinder, and just go all in with a Supercharged LS V8 out of a Camaro. 600 horsepower in something this small is crazy and I love every bit of it!
This widebody S2000 continues to show that Honda was wrong to stop making such a great car. The wider track is needed to put all the power down from the massive turbo’d motor.
The turbo added to this custom kits helps it to produce over 500hp at the wheels. The F20 motor has been upgraded inside with new pistons and rods to handle the beating. The shaved bay loses air conditioning and other accessories, but the result looks great.
I can appreciate a good interior as much as a motor. The work on this Porsche 356 is top notch. The quilt work on the sils and seats is excellent and I love how the amp for the speakers is in it’s own enclosure made to look like luggage, with the subs hidden below it.
Lexus had it’s new RCF and GSF in their booth and I think it is getting them closer to competing with their German rivals, but it was this RCF race car set up to compete in the GT300 class that I loved. This needs to come over to America to complete in the ALMS or Continental Tire series.
Will Au-Yueng from PZ Tuning brought this track monster from Canada down to show what a true Time Attack Civic should look like. The race team from PZ tuning races in the Red line Time attack series, and their next race is in Atlanta next month.
The 2012 civic sports a K24a1 motor with a borg Warner turbo making 660hp on 110 octane fuel. The car weighs 2570 lbs and should take away the front wheel drive record at Road Atlanta next month.
The snakes nest on top of this old truck is a compound turbo setup. When one turbo feeds into a much larger turbo to create insane amounts of boost it is called compound. You only see this on diesel motors, and this one on a Cummings 12 valve six cyclinder is pushing over 60 psi. I’m not sure why this truck had such large front tires as it wasn’t all wheel drive.
Stanceworks brought a E28 5 series BMW with a 500hp S38 motor to the show. The motor work was incredible the rest of the car looked like it could fall apart any moment.
There were a lot more 350z’s and 370’s at the show this year compared to last. This twin turbo example had the wide body and aero kit of a race car but the chrome under the hood wouldn’t last too long in the wild. I did love the color of the rims contrast against the flat body color.
Twins Turbo Motorsports brought this Supra they built to compete in the battle of the builders. They placed in the top 10. The Car has a single turbo conversion on a full race manifold, and a V mounted intercooler setup. This is the ultimate street Supra.
This work of art was created for the singer of Metallica. It is a totally custom car with touches of early 30’s and 40’s cars. I can’t see the lead singer of a heavy metal band driving around in this, but I guess if you have the money you must have lots of different types of cars.
